After 10 years of teaching in the Issaquah School District, culminating in the isolation of community over Zoom, I realized that my skills of breaking down complicated tasks and making others feel heard and understood would be best utilized elsewhere. As a lifelong PNW dweller and homeowner, I decided to put my knowledge, experience, and pride for this area to good use!
I like to think of myself as a Real Estate Matchmaker, pairing buyers to the right home and homes to qualified buyers. I strive to move members of my community toward their home ownership dreams through education, effective communication, highly personalized negotiation, and professional partnerships. No matter what the real estate experts say, the best time to buy or sell a home is when you're ready. This Seattleite's goal is to help you get there!
I work with buyers and sellers throughout Northern King and Southern Snohomish Counties, but my heart lies with those first-time home buyers or sellers, long-time dwellers, and aspiring investors who need a little more care and direction.
My years in the classroom prepared me to explain the complexities of buying or selling your home in ways that are digestible and easy to understand. I'm always available to answer your questions, no matter how big or small! Real estate transactions can be daunting, but I do my best to make it a smooth process from contract to close for all parties involved!

5 stars! Rachel was great to work with. First time home buyers and she walked us through every step of the process, making sure we didn't miss any forms or deadlines. She was available in the evening or over the weekend on short notice when we needed her, and she kept working on closing paperwork even when sick. She stayed in contact for weeks after closing to help answer questions and get follow-up info from the seller. Our whole process was very fast (<2 months), but it didn't feel like she was trying to rush us into a purchase; she'd point out flaws in prospective houses as often as the highlights. Overall, it was a great experience and much smoother than we feared it would be--thanks, Rachel!
